You & Your Church:
We believe that God has uniquely positioned the Church to get relationally involved in serving in local housing communities. The role of the Riverworks ministry is to help the local church to build real relationships with the families in local housing communities and then help the Church identify its role is in serving in the community. We believe that some congregations are called to disciple families, some are called to help families improve their level of education, some are called to help meet practical daily needs of families.
The key here is to think creatively, take ministry out of the box, and truly seek the Lord for direction in using your skills and passions, and those of your church to get engaged in the community.
