Help put an FVCA Summer Camp Pack

into the hands of a child this summer!

For 43 years, FVCA has provided summer camp and school year opportunities for some of our most vulnerable youth in the Fox Valley.  Each summer, FVCA provides a free overnight camp experience or extended leadership program for 700-800 children and teens from local, under-resourced communities.  When thinking through the challenges that families have faced through this spring and summer season we knew God had uniquely positioned us to act.  Through much prayer and discussion we developed 3 exciting alternatives!

We have opened up our campus to Family Retreats, inviting families to stay in a private cabin for a 2-day/1-night stay.  While here all their meals and activities are provided at no-charge.  We have also recently launched TNT Leadership Day Camps.  Teens are provided the opportunity to engage in small group discussions about leadership, virtually explore college and career options, engage in Bible studies with their peers, and enjoy some of their favorite outdoor camp activities.  Our biggest endeavor, though, is our FVCA Summer Camp Packs!  These Packs are delivered directly into the hands of kids and include a new sleeping bag, flashlight, crafts, a new Bible, and online content to guide them through multiple days of summer camp content.  Our goal is to deliver 1,000 packs throughout Aurora, Elgin, Carpentersville, and surrounding communities!

1,000 packs is a big goal!  It costs just $50 to one pack in the hands of a child and potentially change their life forever.

We are so grateful for your faithful support both financially and in prayer!  If you haven’t yet made a gift toward our 2020 Summer Outreach would you consider doing so today.  To make an online gift simply click the button below.
