What a whirlwhind the past few months have been!  I pray that you and your families have remained safe and well over this time.  We at FVCA continue to be so thankful for your generous prayerful and financial support!

For over 40 years, our desire has always been to provide kids and teens with great opportunities to grow in their walk with Jesus during the summer and school year.  Summer camp gives us the opportunity to get kids out of their day-to-day environment and “immerse” them in the love of Jesus.  The pandemic forced us to change the way we do summer outreach ministry.  At the end of April we began a discussion on what that would like and by the end of the next week we have a plan in place.

This summer we are focused on 2 main initiatives: Family Retreats and FVCA Summer Camp Packs. During a family retreat, families from low-income communities will be treated to a 2-day/1-night stay in a private cabin where all their meals and activities will be provided for them at no-cost.  Our second initiative will package up a lot of the fun that summer camp offers and deliver it directly to the kids – a new sleeping bag, crafts, a backpack, flashlight, a Bible, and more – and activities to go with it!

FVCA is taking every precaution to keep staff, families, and kids as safe as possible.  We are so thankful for the small team of summer staff who have said yes this summer and helping to make these opportunities a reality for families and kids.

None of these summer experiences are possible without the generous and faithful support of you, our donor!  If you have not yet made a gift toward our summer ministry outreach campaign please consider doing so today.  Thank you so much for your great partnership in ministry!
